Host a Classic Reborn multiplayer world with the standalone server toolkit. Java 16 or newer is required.

  1. 01

    Keep the server in its own folder

    Download the server creator JAR into a dedicated folder and double-click it to open the server window. The server starts on port 25565. Your world is saved as world.dat when the server closes.

  2. 02

    Join from the game

    Choose Multiplayer, enter your player name, and use 127.0.0.1 with port 25565 when playing on the host computer. Other players on your local network use the host computer IP address.

    Manage your server

    Use the server console for chat and commands. Type /help for commands, or /admin followed by a player name to grant admin access. Player names are not authenticated, so host for people you trust.

    For a server without a window, run this command from its folder:

    java -jar classic-reborn-server-creator.jar --headless --port 25565
